One hotkey.
Everything you do.

An open-source command palette for macOS, Windows and Linux — where almost everything, including the features that ship with it, is an extension.

Everything in one search box

No modes to switch between and no menus to learn. Type what you want, and the thing you reach for most is already at the top.

Bring your Raycast extensions

OpenRay implements a @raycast/api-compatible runtime, so extensions written for Raycast build and run here.

  • Install from any registry, a packed archive, or a folder you are working on.
  • A registry is a static directory of files. There is no backend to run.
  • Archives ship prebuilt, so installing one needs no compiler on your machine.
  • Scaffold your own in one command and watch it hot-reload as you save.
